2009-12-12 · Deir el-Qamar, Lebanon

Michael Ghanem is a young filmmaker and local stage actor who has been performing on stage since the age of six, and over a decade of theatrical experience eventually paved the way for his transition behind the camera, where he writes, directs, and edits his own cinematic projects. As a filmmaker, Ghanem is known for working completely independently, directing original stories on ultra-low budgets. He earned significant online traction when his mid-length horror film The Tooth Keeper (2025) went viral on Reddit, drawing over 100,000 combined views and showcasing his ability to craft suspenseful, high-impact narratives with limited resources.
